On April 20th , 2025 at 6:08 am the Plattsburgh Fire Department was dispatched by the Clinton County Office
of Emergency Services 911 center to a report of a structure fire at 43 Pike St.
The First City Fire Department Engine arrived at 6:11 am and reported fire venting from a third story
window of a large 5 unit apartment building. As firefighters with help from the Plattsburgh Police
Department were evacuating residents, City Firefighters stretched a hose line to the third floor and were able
to make an aggressive interior attack on the fire.
