The City of Plattsburgh has seen record amounts of rain this season which has caused multiple Parks Come Alive! Events to be canceled and rescheduled. The City is pleased to share that both Parks Come Alive! events that were canceled in July and August have been rescheduled and still promise to bring food, music and fun to our local city parks.

The Plattsburgh City Beach is officially back open for swimming after Beach Staff received a clear result from water testing that was conducted on Tuesday July 18th.
City staff have submitted a list of proposed initial Parks Renewal projects to the Common Council for their review and approval. The list of recommendations was informed by public input and includes much needed upgrades to restroom facilities, refurbished basketball and pickleball courts, walking paths, and playgrounds at various park locations throughout the City.
