On Saturday October 26th, the City of Plattsburgh will be full of spooks, treats and maybe even a few tricks! The fourth annual Downtown Trick or Treat event will be held on Saturday October 26th from 12:00-2:00PM.

The City of Plattsburgh is pleased to announce that it has been awarded funding through the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) program, administered by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). This award will provide crucial financial support for the purchase of National Institute of Justice (NIJ) compliant bulletproof vests for the city’s law enforcement officers.

The Parks Come Alive Event series will host its final event of the season on Thursday, September 12th, from 4:30-7:30 PM at Fox Hill Park, with family friendly activities, local food, live music, and more. As a special feature of this event, the City of Plattsburgh will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 6:00 PM to celebrate the completion of new playground equipment and construction upgrades at the park. The City of Plattsburgh is planning to open an interim “Downtown Transportation Center” that will serve as a hub for regional bus services such as FlixBus (Greyhound) and Trailways.
